Calibration procedures for instruments measuring air and water temperature, humidity and shortwave radiation on Tropical Atmosphere Ocean (TAO) Array buoys are described. Initial sensor accuracy as well as drift are quantified. Improvements in calibration procedures, where necessary, are discussed.
