STD measurements off the Oregon Coast

Halpern, D., and J.R. Holbrook

CUEA Data Report 12, Department of Oceanography, University of Washington, 397 pp (1974)

Summaries of STD measurements recorded during July and August 1973 in the northeast Pacific near the Oregon coast are presented as vertical profiles of temperature, salinity and sigma-t and as tables of temperature, salinity, sigma-t and Brunt-Väisälä frequency are shown for time series of STD casts obtained at one location (anchor-station data). Zonal sections of the vertical distributions of temperature, salinity and sigma-t are given. Meteorological observations associated with each STD cast are presented. A tabulation is given of the chlorophyll-a measurements.
