Re: [las_users] unsuccessful LAS V7.2.1 upgrade: no maps produced

Thanks, Roland. For the benefit of the user list, I'll reiterate your recent discovery from our last phone conversation. The problem turned out to be an outdated operationsV7.xml file. I still had the same file from the previous LAS installation (V7.1.1) and simply needed to copy over the new V7.2.1 operationsV7.xml file, for which there was an example in the installation directory: /usr/local/las/conf/example/operationsV7.xml. When I copied this over to my live area (/usr/local/tomcat/content/las/conf/server/) and restarted Tomcat, maps were successfully being generated. For other users who may have their own custom changes to operationsV7.xml, you'll have to be careful to migrate these over to the new operationsV7.xml file.

Many thanks for your help on tracking this down!
Cheers,
John

Hi Roland,

Remembering needing to make this corrective step from a previous installation, I had previously manually edited everything to be lawelawe:8080 (our internal URL) instead of oos (our external proxy URL). Neither form works. Maybe we can step through this together via phone...
