[las_users] error producing difference plots

Hi All,
I've recently installed LAS V7.1.1 and am still new to the LAS V7 interface. The "compare" visualization gallery is a very nifty utility. However, when I attempt to produce difference plots I get an error. A look at my Tomcat logs (catalina.out) shows the following error:

Note that our base url listed above won't work outside of our firewall. For your own testing purposes, convert lawelawe.soest.hawaii.edu:8080 to our proxy server at oos.soest.hawaii.edu. You can view the above data at:

http://oos.soest.hawaii.edu/thredds/dodsC/las/wrf_hi/catalog.html?dataset=las/wrf_hi/data_lawelawe.soest.hawaii.edu_8080_thredds_dodsC_hioos_model_atm_wrf_hi_WRF_Hawaii_Regional_Atmospheric_Model_best.ncd.jnl

When I click on the OPeNDAP URL listed on the above page, I get the following error:
Cant read /data/las/wrf_hi/data_lawelawe.soest.hawaii.edu_8080_thredds_dodsC_hioos_model_atm_wrf_hi_WRF_Hawaii_Regional_Atmospheric_Model_best.ncd.jnl: not a valid NetCDF file.

I then went to the above data file on my server and here is what it contains:

USE "http://lawelawe.soest.hawaii.edu:8080/thredds/dodsC/hioos/model/atm/wrf_hi/WRF_Hawaii_Regional_Atmospheric_Model_best.ncd"

This USE statement points to a valid NetCDF file (again, since you are outside my firewall replace lawelawe:8080 with our proxy at oos to try it for yourself).

Any ideas what's preventing the difference plots from working?
