Can LAS6.4 use DRDS to access RDB data??

Hi, dear friends,

I use LAS6.4 to access RDB data following the instructions on http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/LASdoc/serve/cache/20.html successfully .

Now I try to do the same thing by DRDS ( http://www.opendap.org/download/drds_server.html ) .

My DRDS server is working good and can access data by browser,

but it can't work with ferret-5.7...

I can get any metadata by ferret-5.7

Are there advantage of using perl DBI to access RDB data?
