If you are including directory or device names you need to enclose the name in
double quotes. E.g.:
yes? use "/dev/cd/mydata"

You didn't say how you were doing the stereographic projections, but if you are
using polar_2d for example, make a local copy of polar_2d.jnl and edit it to
include a date label.
