[ferret_users] contour-label digits for lev=xD

Ferret users,

I've been wondering what determines the decimal digits of
contour labels and how to control them for the "lev=xD" form.

For example,

  yes? set data levitus_climatology
  yes? contour/k=1/lev=2D temp
  yes? contour/vlimits=0:500/y=0/lev=2D temp
  yes? contour/vlimits=0:500/y=0/lev=2D/sigdig=1 temp

In the first and third plots, the contour labels
are printed as integers ("0", "5", "10", "22", etc.),
but in the second plot, they are like "10.0", "22.0", etc.

I strongly prefer the integer form since all contour
levels are round numbers.

It's also mysterious to me what "sigdig=1" means
in the third plot.

Cheers,
Ryo
