Hi there,
If I understood your question:
open file1.nc open file2.nc let us assume the variable name is pre
then the difference:
let diff = pre[d=1]-pre[d=2]
to have map view: shade diff[l=@ave] to have a time series plot: plot diff[x=@ave,y=@ave]

Hello all,
I am trying to combine two *.nc files that have variables with the same dimensions( I=1:360, J=1:180). Each file contains one variable and I would like to plot the difference between the two variables on one plot. Thanks for any help!
