Hi Dave,
We have this wording, buried a bit in a link from the Downloads page
under Cooperative Support.

We're getting set up to distribute the source code more directly.
And, yes, you may package up Ferret - packaging it for easier
distribution is definitely within the license and something we want to
encourage.
