Re: [ferret_users] potential density
For potential density, definitely use the result of function THETA_FO
rather than in situ temperature. It won't make too much difference in
the upper water (in the tropics), but it is more correct (and easy to
do).

Hello Ferreters,
I just have a simple question to make sure,
When calculating potential density using the function RHO_UN, which
temperature should be put into the second function argument, in
situ or potential temperature?
rho_un(salt, temp, 0) or rho_un(salt, theta, 0) or it doesn't make
much difference in the upper ocean?
Thanks,
