Re: some comments
Regarding your first question (viewport control),
try
DEF VI/AXES/x=.../y=... name
That allows direct control of exactly where the viewport appears on the
page, where x and y are fractions of the total plot width.
Regarding your second question, you can embed plot marks (or any
character, or any color change) in your label text:
go legline_nu 0.00 0.05 0.084 1 0.1 "@pm04@srQ_C_S_R"
