Hi Rolando,
             Have a look at  Ch8 Sec6. LAGRANGIAN DATA in ferret
manual. You can have a trial with the demo scripts like
trackplot_demo, polymark_demo &  polytube_demo given with ferret to 
get a feel of the options available in ferret.

Start a ferret session and type
 
            yes ? go trackplot_demo

            yes ? go polymark_demo

            yes ? go polytube_demo
