Ferret on Linux alpha: SPAWN

Hello everyone !

I have a Linux alpha with the Red Hat 7.2. 
Ferret v5.51 (built for DEC Alpha/OSF-1) works reasonably well on this machine but there any (compatibility) problems with the SP(AWN) command that doesn't work.
root@ozone /usr/local/ferret >uname -a

sp rm -f ferret.jnl
yes? sp pwd
yes?
Is it normal? Have you got any ideas to make the command "sp"  work on Linux alpha? Perhaps, is there a built version available for linux alpha?
