pipe and FIFO

Dear Ferret users,

With the qualifier "- server" everything go real
faaaaaassssssssttttttttttttt!
I could use the four methods but popen and pclose in my program are
easier to
read and use.

All methods now seem equivalent. They all work and they all took the
same
time to execute.
