The OceanSITES format netcdf file in this directory contains data from the Kuroshio Extension Observatory (KEO) mooring at the nominal location of 32.4N, 144.5E in the Kuroshio Extension recirculation gyre. Please note that this is a slack line mooring, and so the depths of subsurface sensors must be computed from the observed and calculated pressures, which are contained in the data file. Please refer to the file head_dy.txt for detailed information about the data contained. All available variables are contained in one OceanSITES file. If you want to read the file using matlab, you can use the file ostime2md.m to convert the OceanSITES time axis into matlab times. NOTE: The file ostime2md.m was modified on May 1 2007, and you may need to update it if you had copied it previously. If you use these data in publications or presentations, please acknowledge the KEO Project Office. Also, we would appreciate receiving a preprint and/or reprint of publications utilizing the data for inclusion in our bibliography.
