November 28-30, 1995
Battelle Seattle Conference Center, Seattle, Washington

Guidance for Plenary Speakers

This program emphasizes an ecological approach to the role of pollock in the southeastern Bering Sea. Within this context, several scientific and management issues involving varying time and space scales have been identified. These issues are presented in the Charge to Attendees. We would like you to:

  1. Make a presentation in your area of expertise according to titles and times listed in the Agenda.   In your presentation, establish a basis of understanding of the project or the ecology of the Bering Sea that will allow later discussion of scientific and management issues in break-out sessions focused on restrospective, observational, process-oriented, and modeling approaches.   Coordinate with co-speakers as necessary.
  2. Provide copies of presentation notes and key figures to the workshop rapporteur, preferably before your presentation.
  3. Coordinate and cooperate with the workshop rapporteur who will produce a Workshop Proceedings.
