The data for these plots were collected aboard NOAA SHIP DISCOVERER in March of 1991.
The plots were created using
Golden Softwares'
package "Surfer for Windows." The plots are consistent with respect to gridding technique
and layout, employing Kriging with a linear variogram and a slight anisotropy ratio to apply
more weight to the grid in the North/South axis (x) versus the surface to depth axis (y).
In the cases where the values did not originate from the CTD sensor, circles were posted on
the plots to designate actual points of data collection.
